Dr. David Roland grew up in a Nazarene parsonage as son to Rev. L.D. and Pauline Roland.  He accepted a call to preach early in life and as a teenager traveled, preaching youth revivals and supplying in pulpits across the Dallas District.  Upon graduation, he moved to Kansas City to pursue an eduation, graduating from both Mid America Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary.  He further was honored with a Doctor of Divinity Degree from Mid America Nazarene University in 1999.

Following his schooling, he pastored growing churches for nineteen years in Drexel, Missouri; Sherman, Texas; and Carrollton, Texas. He faithfully served as the District Superintendent of the North Arkansas District from 1993 to 2002.

On June 27, 2002, he was elected by the sixtieth assembly delegation as the seventh District Superintendent of the Northeastern Indiana District.  Dr. Roland brings to the district a rich background in ministry and administration.

His wife, Cheryl, is equally talented as a writer, speaker, and leader of women's ministries on the District and General Church levels of the Church of the Nazarene.

They are the parents of two daughters: Cassie and Kari.  Cassie is presently completing her Masters degree from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma.  She is married to Ryan Sory and they have made their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Kari married Nathan Burns and they reside in Dodge City, Kansas where she teaches school and her husband is the Associate Pastor of Worship and Staff Development.  They have one son, Bryce.

 


 Dr. Carlos D. Sol was born in a Nazarene parsonage in Chiapas, Mexico.  Edna was also born in Chiapas, Mexico.  They recieved their calling to ministry in their youth and traveled to San Antonio, Texas to attend the Nazarene Latin American Seminary.  He graduated with a B.A. in Theology in May of 1964.  He married Edna Gutierrez, who also graduated from the seminary in 1965.  He and Edna were ordained in San Antonio, Texas on April 19, 1968. They have pastored in Manhattan, NY, Brooklyn, NY, Mercedes, TX, Corpus Christi, TX, Laredo, TX, Oklahoma City, OK, Los Angeles, CA - where he also served as District Coordinator for the Hispanic Churches.  He served in Springdale, AR - as pastor and District Coordinator, starting the Hispanic ministry in that district.  Currently he has joined us on the NEI district as the Hispanic District Coordinator.  

He has a Masters in Ministry, Masters in Theology, and a Doctorate in Theology.  Along with the lists of their many accomplishments they also have a list of descendents, mimicking biblical geneaologies.  He and Edna are the parents of five children, their spouses, and six grandchildren:  Nellie (married to Frank), Edith, Eunice (married to Fernando), Carlos (married to Rebecca) and Annette (married to Javier).  This small battalion, except Javier and Annette all reside in Springdale, Arkansas.

Mrs. Tiffany Ball grew up near Port Huron, Michigan.  Following her high school graduation in 2004, she attended Oakland University for two years. In 2006, she transferred to Indiana Wesleyan University, where she graduated with a degree in K-12 General Music Education. 

On July 9, 2010, she married Wesley Ball, the Media Director for Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service in Grant County.  They currently live in La Fontaine, Indiana.
